This year's theme is "Total Eclipse of the Sun," which is sure to be a fantastic galactic weekend full of Techies, annular eclipse viewing, an electric light parade, and much more!

New Mexico Tech Campus Meet at the parking lot at Facilities Management at 7:00 am Things to Know: 1. Online registration only- no in person registration.  Each person must register themselves. 2. Bibs must be picked up from Gina Chavez in West Hall  the week before the event. 3. Must have your bib to participate. 4. Must wear closed toe shoes. 5. No drones. 6. Last bus leaves at 7:45 am. 7. All participants must be 18 or older. 8. No pets allowed. 9. Cut off for registration is NOON SHARP on 10/12/23. Cut off to pick up bib is 5pm SHARP on 10/12.

Weather Ballooning Project
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.

Highlights: This project is part of a larger effort to observe the atmospheric response to the annular solar eclipse on October 14, under NASA's Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project (NEBP),  The faculty advisors are Rachel Humphery from St. Cloud State University, Steve Highland from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, and Erick Agrimson from St Catherine University, along with about a dozen undergraduate students. A ballooning team of students and faculty from Minnesota will be on campus.
