The NMT Office for Advancement and Alumni Relations is gearing up for the 2023 "annular" 49ers.
This year's theme is "Total Eclipse of the Sun," which is sure to be a fantastic galactic weekend full of Techies, annular eclipse viewing, an electric light parade, and much more!

Weather Ballooning Project

Location: Workman Center Shop Yard Hosted by: NMT's Department of Physics Highlights: This project is part of a larger effort to observe the atmospheric response to the
annular solar eclipse on October 14, under NASA's Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project
(NEBP), The faculty advisors are Rachel Humphery from St. Cloud State University, Steve
Highland from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, and Erick Agrimson from St
Catherine University, along with about a dozen undergraduate students. A ballooning team of students and faculty from Minnesota will be on campus.
